Creative Healing is excited to announce the newest member of our board, Amanda Burke!
Amanda comes to us with a passion for helping and supporting our local community and has been a lifelong resident of the Charlottesville area.
Her professional background includes sales & marketing experience in a variety of settings and she loves helping the senior population and their families navigate the often complicated & confusing healthcare systems to help find, support and maintain a peaceful balance of wellness while being informed and empowered.
Amanda realized her dream of wanting to further help advocate for others after losing her Grandmother Shirley, who she was very close to. She began working as a sales and marketing director for a local Assisted Living Community in 2020. It was in this role that Amanda met Danielle, Founder of Creative Healing. The two connected and worked closely to help transition & integrate complicated cases into more appropriate living situations within the memory care environments for over a year and have maintained a strong bond and friendship.
Amanda’s kind and caring heart for serving the elder community as well as anyone she meets absolutely SHINES & we are grateful to have her on our board & as part of our local team supporting our Charlottesville area.
Amanda has “dug deep” and recognized her gifts and shares them presently in her role at Medi Home Hospice. You will often see her out and about in our local hospitals, long term care facilities and partnering with area physicians in educating and journeying alongside those families who are nearing the end of life.
We are honored to have such a beautiful soul helping to support our mission & can’t wait to see the magic she brings to our collective healing. 🎨❤️🩹🥰
